Approach
New Belgium came to us to bring Vandal to life at launch, and we built an activation around live customization: artists painting sneakers and a skateboard deck in the brand's colors while guests watched. What started in Vegas has since traveled with the brand to Cincinnati, Columbus, Phoenix, Reno, Denver, and Cleveland, and at each stop we brought in local artists who knew how to paint that city's vibe instead of importing ours. Eleven artists across five states, all working from the same brief, all bringing something different to it.
Outcome
Vandal isn't a one-off anymore. It's the activation model New Belgium keeps calling us back for, and every stop puts our artists' work in front of an audience and a scene we hadn't reached before. The clearest sign it landed: the owner kept a pair of the painted shoes and still wears them to company events.
