A give-back day with Texas Roadhouse's national managers, bringing new color and custom murals to sister schools Jim Thorpe and Harriet Treem Elementary.
Approach
Texas Roadhouse had managers in town for a national meeting and wanted to spend a day giving back to the local schools. Since Thorpe and Treem are sister schools, we brought both into one project: managers painted the exterior pillars at each campus in alternating school colors, red and royal blue, while our team layered in the detail work — a broken-glass accent mural for the teachers' lounge at Treem, and logos and quotes painted over accent walls the managers had just finished at Thorpe.
Outcome
One day turned into two campuses transformed instead of one. Between the pillars, the accent walls, and the teachers' lounge mural, the amount of square footage covered was well beyond what either school could have tackled on its own facilities budget. Both schools walked away with a visible, lasting upgrade — and a group of visiting managers who spent their meeting week painting instead of sitting in it.
