Seven Hills Behavioral Health Hospital
Brief
Seven Hills Behavioral Health Hospital brought us in to turn a blank 1,800-square-foot courtyard into something their young patients could actually look forward to.

Approach
The unit houses patients ages 5 to 17, and the courtyard is one of the only places they get real outdoor time. We built a Vegas skyline that opens into a lineup of anime characters and superheroes, then the hospital went to work to activate the space around it — lounge chairs, bean bags, a basketball court. The idea wasn't to decorate a wall. It was to give kids a reason to want to be outside.
Outcome
The wall hasn't been tagged or written on since it went up — a small detail that tells you how differently the space is being treated now. Staff have seen kids come into the courtyard low and leave a little lighter, and the space has become somewhere the hospital is proud to show families and visitors instead of somewhere to explain away. As Travis, our point of contact, put it: "The quality of their artwork has been outstanding, and the completed murals have transformed our courtyards into welcoming, therapeutic spaces that our patients, families, and visitors genuinely enjoy. We are consistently proud to showcase these areas, and the feedback we receive has been overwhelmingly positive."
