Over two weeks, six artists painted five murals across more than 12,000 square feet of Eldorado High School's campus, turning a fifty-year mascot change into something students could see on every wall from the weight room to the quad.

Over two weeks, six artists painted five murals across more than 12,000 square feet of Eldorado High School's campus, turning a fifty-year mascot change into something students could see on every wall from the weight room to the quad.

Over two weeks, six artists painted five murals across more than 12,000 square feet of Eldorado High School's campus, turning a fifty-year mascot change into something students could see on every wall from the weight room to the quad.
Approach
Eldorado had worn the same mascot for fifty years, and moving from Sun Devils to Fire Hawks meant more than a new logo — it meant the campus itself needed to catch up to its identity. It became Graffiti Park's largest project to date: six artists working across hard-to-reach spaces with heavy equipment, painting two murals in the weight room, a fully rebranded stairwell, a quad mural designed by a student and refined by our team, and a large-scale piece in the aux gym — all in two weeks.
Outcome
Admin walked the halls and saw a school that finally looked like the one it had become. The murals gave students and staff a sense of ownership over the rebrand instead of just an announcement of it, and helped the wider community adjust to fifty years of tradition changing almost overnight — all while delivering a visible, lasting upgrade to a campus with no shortage of other maintenance priorities.
