Brief

A live-painting activation at Caesars Palace for ASNR's national conference, where four artists turned four blank canvases into brain health in motion.

Approach

ASNR needed the poolside lounge at Caesars to feel like more than a break between sessions. We set up four painters and four canvases in the open air, building each piece live while attendees moved between panels and pool chairs. The imagery drew from the conference's own visual language — the branching structure of neural pathways, the color and motion of a scan — turned into something a room full of radiologists don't usually get to see: their subject matter treated like art instead of data.

Outcome

People who'd spent the day reading scans stopped to watch their field get reinterpreted in real time. The canvases became the pool deck's centerpiece and an easy conversation starter for an industry that doesn't get a lot of room to be creative. For a conference built around precision, it was a rare, loose, personal moment — and it was theirs.
